Is Supertubos good for beginners?

No, not when it is properly working.

Supertubos is famous for powerful, hollow beach-break waves and is one of the reasons Peniche is known internationally. It can look exciting from the sand, but a first-time surfer has no reason to learn there when safer options exist.

What happens in a beginner surf lesson?

A first lesson should cover more than standing up.
