Central Peniche is the most practical cluster for everyday services. The fortress anchors the south-east edge of the centre, while the marina and boat check-in points sit around the harbour. The peninsula roads continue west to Cabo Carvoeiro and the dramatic rocks at Papôa lie to the north.

North coast: Gamboa, Baleal and Ferrel
Praia da Gamboa begins on the north side of Peniche and leads towards the long sandy bay. Farther north-east, Baleal’s causeway separates two beach faces, creating very different exposure to wind and swell. Ferrel sits inland above Baleal and has restaurants, shops and a more residential rhythm.
